Eye Of The Beholder Iq Showcases Art From Students And Teachers

Amy, 16, is a Year 11 student at St Mary's Star of the Sea College who has been attending art lessons at Art Effects Studio, Corrimal under the tuition of Audrey McCauley for eight years.

Black Thunder won three prizes at the 2005 Bulli Show: grand champion, first prize and best junior exhibit.

Amy has also entered the Art Visions Exhibition at school and received the curator's choice award two years running.

She entered the Kiama Show in 2005 and received a highly commended award.

"From as young as two, Amy has always had pencils and drawing pads in her possession and certainly has developed over the ensuing years to her current status and definitely has a love of art," her mother Linda said.
